Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a=n important element in a lot of our cleverologist thinking. It underpins a lot of our work in areas such as e-mail marketing, employee engagement and persuasion pathways.
We believe that everyone has the capacity to change, we believe that everyone is inherently good – it’s just that people’s bad behaviours can sometimes get in the way. NLP is a common tool used in HR for leadership development, conflict resolution and the “softer” parts of a company’s experience of/in the world.
It’s also used at the more dubious end of the direct response advertising fraternity but at cleverologists we use it to help you to get inside people’s heads and personalise your messages. If you can align your message with the particular behavioural triggers for a particular person then it’s a win win situation! It’s kind like user experience + user understanding = best user experience possible. It also helps you to get a much deeper knowledge about your customers and what makes them tick.
This can then save you lots of time and effort so you don’t keep sending them inappropriate communications – that are never going to appeal to them. NLP can also play a big part in “self –segmentation” or “automated marketing” systems. Insights into customer behaviours, trigger points, surveys etc. all help to nurture leads over a period of time, turning strangers into friends and friends into customers.
